With over 50 CNC traditional mills and lathes at our disposal, there aren’t many jobs Overton can’t handle when you need a resource to run production machining for your company. We’ll partner with you from the beginning of your project to machine parts that are in tolerance and delivered on time, and our plans always suggest the quickest and best way to run parts through our traditional CNC mills, a 5th-Axis CNC mill, lathes, or grinding departments.
Powder Metal Compaction Tooling

When in need of compaction tooling, look no further than Overton. Thanks to our history of expertise in powdered metal tooling, we’ve been custom designing and manufacturing compaction tooling for decades. In addition to tooling, Overton has developed its own compaction die to create high quality pressings for a variety of industries. Choose from compaction dies for General Use Powder Compaction, Magnet Powder Compaction, Ceramic Powder Compaction, or Thermal Battery Powder.
High Speed Production Stamping
There’s high speed delivery. And then there’s Overton speed delivery.
As a full service Tool & Die shop, Overton designs and builds stamping dies for our customers to run production. That includes customers who come to us to run some short-run production parts, to prepare production contingency plans, or to run some of their more difficult parts because of the complexity. Whether you need 5,000 pieces from our 500 ton press or 5,000,000 from our high speed presses, we have what it takes to get the job done. Fast – up to 1200 strokes per minute.

For over 50 years, Overton has specialized in the manufacturing of solid carbide and inserted carbide tooling. Carbide can increase tool life by 10x or more. With decades of experience and domestically-sourced carbide, Overton can design tooling and specify carbide grades precisely for your application. Overton also specializes in ceramics for the right applications. Our expertise includes tube mill tooling and all types of dies and punches, as well as many other applications where high wear is a problem.
